Hi! We’re Zehud, it’s nice to meet you!
Jewish continuity doesn’t happen magically. We continue to grow and thrive as a people only by actively engaging in our history, identity, culture, language, texts, and traditions.
We at Zehud are committed to helping the next generation of Jewish children throughout Europe and beyond stay joyfully engaged in their Jewish identity. We do this through live, interactive, virtual learning, and an advanced curriculum and methodology taught by our team of professional teachers.

Why “Zehud”?
The name ‘Zehud’ blends three core concepts:
Zechut (זכות) – meaning ‘merit’ or ‘opportunity’
Zehut (זהות) – meaning ‘identity’
Yeud (ייעוד) – meaning ‘purpose’ or ‘destiny’
We give our students the opportunity to learn about their Jewish heritage and traditions, and to learn to read, write, and speak Hebrew, the language of the Jewish people. We instill a strong sense and love of Jewish identity in our students. And in doing so, we help our students and their families understand their purpose and destiny as members of the Jewish people.
Our mission
We’re on a mission: To provide the highest quality education in Jewish language, identity, and culture to all Jewish children throughout Europe and beyond — regardless of affiliation or location. Because education unlocks access, choice, and autonomy for all Jews.
We want our alumni to recognize the Jewish People in its diversity, building strong Jewish friendships and community. We instill in them a deep connection to Jewish History, memory, tradition, rituals, concepts, holidays, texts, Torah, core narratives, Hebrew, and Jewish terminology.

We value the highest quality of Jewish education, using world-renowned curricula and our own meticulous staff to ensure the highest quality standards that meets our students where they are.
Joy
Our highest goal is to imbue a sense of joy and pride in our students and their parents around their Jewish identity, culture, language, and peoplehood.
Access
We believe Judaism belongs to every Jew, but it’s only through access to our language and texts that people can make informed choices about their level of engagement with their Jewish identity.

We instill trust in our students, parent body, community partners, and donors by delivering the highest level of education with integrity, openness, and support for our students’ needs.
Community
Community is such an integral part of our survival as a people. We are proud to be building a strong sense of community within our student body and community partnerships.
